Deborah Fraser has two children – a daughter and a son named Selwyn Fraser. Selwyn is married to a south african singer Noncebo Zikide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deborah was married to Nigerian pastor Sockey Okeke, founder of the Mercy Chapel. The couple divorced in 2008, a year after they got married.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deborah Fraser began her career in 1985 as a backing singer, and recorded her own album in 2000, titled Abanye bayombona<\/em>. The album has sold over 1 million copies. Uhambo<\/em> is her 10th studio album with 14 songs, including the hit, “Ngeke ngiyeke ukuthandaza.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr Fraser also won the first SABC Crown Gospel Music<\/em> for Best Female Artist, as well as a SAMA <\/em>and Metro <\/em>award for Best Gospel Album, and a Kora <\/em>for Best Gospel artist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She obtained a doctorate of Philosophy at the Trinity International Bible University in October 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
