He has two sons, Kamogelo and Katlego, who are both singers.

Tshepo’s wife died 28 years ago and he never marry again.

Tshepo Tshola has been in the industry for more than 45 years, ever since he joined teen boy band The Lesotho Blue Diamonds as a vocalist in 1970. He then join the group called The Anti-Antics and later Uhuru and Sankomota.

With Sankomota they relocated to London from 1985 to 1989.

Tshepo Tshola died from COVID-19 complications on 15 July 2021 in Lesotho. He was 67 years old.
