In 2016, Dr Tumi dominated at Sunday night’s 9th SABC Crown Gospel Music Awards at the ICC in Durban by taking five trophies. He won Best Gospel Album, Best Gospel Artist, Best Gospel Producer, Best Gospel Best Gospel Song and Male Artist.
