DJ Sumbody died on the 20 November 2022. Popular South African Disk Jockey , DJ Sumbody has allegedly been gunned down in the early hours of the morning.

DJ Sumbody Education

For the beginning of his academic pursuit, DJ Sumbody attended Sunnyside Primary School. He furthered his education at Bokgoni Technical High School.

After his matriculation, he enrolled for a degree at the Tshwane University of Technology.

His love for music was stronger than that of his academics. In year 2, he quit his educational career to focus full-time in the music industry.

Even after dropping out of school, the deejay is doing well in the entertainment industry.

Career

The official kickoff of his career could be traced down to his days as a volunteer producer and presenter. He was the brain behind the show Mashaedi on the Engage which was broadcast on Tshwane.

In 2018, the celebrated Deejay dropped the song titled Monate Mpolaye. Fame and other recognitions accompanied the song that took the South African music industry by storm.

He grew famous and gained prominence at the national level. And on streaming sites, the song was also doing well, On YouTube, it hit over 3.1 million.

The deejay has also dropped several albums that gained positive feedback and contributed to his music success. Some of his albums include Larger Than House (Vol. 1 & 2) and Ashi Nthwela.

He has worked with and featured several other big names in the music industry including DJ Tira, Busiswa, Londie London, and Holly Rey. He has also collaborated with Busiswa, Cassper Nyovest, Kwesta, Zakes Bantwini, and Leehleza.

Music is not only his only stream of income, he is also into business and runs the Ayepyep Lifestyle. The business is a partnership between him and Kagiso Setsetse.
