Episode 151

Asanda makes a promise to Charleston that she’s taking her Mamfundisi duties seriously. The Jeles are in a good space and Lungile almost catches her parents getting frisky.

Maureen puts her foot down and says there’s no concert happening at her tavern. Charleston thinks Asanda should bring her friends to the light or she will end in darkness with them.

Asanda and Charleston try to convince Sne to come to church. Maureen is starting to think something shady is going on with Malume Jantshi but Lerato thinks it’s just nerves about his big comeback concert and album.

Episode 154

Asanda takes the raid as a warning from God that they must do a spiritual cleansing. The Gedeza family officially ends the mourning period for Khumo.

Episode 155

A hurt Mgedeza confronts Malume Jantshi about the phone call and Malume has no escape. Asanda feels like the walls are closing in on her and Sne does her best to calm her.

Episode 156

Mgedeza has Malume Jantshi locked in his room waiting to be interrogated and Lerato is struggling to deal with the fallout from unhappy people who bought tickets. Asanda tells Charleston about the girls not wanting to do the cleansing so Charleston decides to try talk to them.

Ringo and Khelina see Thandiwe getting into a strange man’s car and are suspicious. Asanda and Charleston try to convince Sne to come to church but she doesn’t want to.

Asanda is upbeat, giving Sne hope that they have moved past the issue of their past criminal lives. Bonga and Thandiwe make Khelina feel like a third wheel so she tries to call her own lover.

The girls give Asanda a tough ultimatum. Lungile sees Thandiwe taking a photo out of the shoe box and she’s even more curious.

Thandiwe is confused as Bra Pat pretends not to know who she is. Themba suggests that Sne approaches a sangoma to cleanse herself of Fistos.

Bonga, Lungile and Nox decide to plan a romantic surprise to cheer Thandiwe up. Asanda suppresses her feelings as Sne helps her to say a prayer.

Nox takes all the blame and apologizes for something she’s not sure about. Sne and Sizwe flirt before their exam.

Lungile has to make a family tree for her life orientation exam and Thandiwe is triggered and leaves. Sne reveals to Asanda and Charleston that she’s going on a date with Sizwe, and the couple has mixed reactions.

Thandiwe returns from her rendezvous and lies about her whereabouts. Meanwhile, Bonga finds out Thandiwe brought up Nox’s biological father to Nox. Sne is quiet and distracted while Asanda wants to know about her date. Sne tells her about her date gone wrong but is vague.

Sizwe comes to let Sne know she is still perfect with kids. The Jeles realize Nox has left early and left her keys. Bonga says he’ll pass by the workshop to give them to her.

Sne and Asanda talk about the indoor picnic yesterday and Sne wants their next date to be couples only. Asanda says Lerato will feel left out. Bonga has questions for Nox after his conversation with Ringo.

Nox lets Bonga know that he raised a fine young woman who won’t fall for any and everything. Sne excitedly catches Asanda up on the couples night and Charleston wonders why he wasn’t invited.

Bra Pat finds himself having to explain himself to Bonga but Thandiwe knows that the end is nigh for her secret. It’s a quiet morning at Asanda’s house – Both Sne and Charleston are not talking to Asanda.

Bonga looks at Thandiwe with a suspicious eye when she says she caught taxis to work yesterday. Sne can’t stop talking about the upcoming weekend trip and Asanda fears she will hurt herself.

Bonga is disappointed when Thandiwe outright lies about her whereabouts yesterday. Sizwe brings Sne flowers and Sne feels appeased in front of Asanda.

Episode 171

Nox refuses to believe what she’s heard from Thandiwe and leaves. Nox is in denial about her father being alive and Herbert has no good answers for her.

Nox is hurt that she’s the one that made an effort to fix things with her mom when all along, her mom was lying. Maureen’s third trimester symptoms are taking a toll on her, but even more on Mgedeza.
