African Academy Learnerships
A learnership is a structured learning programme that includes provider-based training and workplace experience. Learnerships have replaced the previous system of apprenticeships. They are offered through workplaces and are registered and coordinated through SETA’s (Sector Education and Training Authorities). These programmes include a mixture of on-the-job training and classroom education and training. African Academy is an accredited training provider in support of learnerships.
FET Certificate in Computer Aided Drawing Office Practice (NQF Level4)
The intention of this qualification is to serve the architectural, engineering and construction industries by providing skilled Draughtpersons who can produce drawings that address the need to move from traditional manual draughting to computer-aided draughting. Portability across other National Qualifications in engineering and draughting is therefore ensured
