Aaron Moloisi is a South African actor and television personality best known as the presenter of SABC1 talk show Shift.

Who is Aaron Moloisi?

Aaron Moloisi was born on the 13th May 1979 in Ga-Dikgale, Limpopo. Aaron is Pedi, but also speaks Sesotho, Setswana, IsiZulu, isiXhosa, a bit of Xitsonga and Tshivenda.

Educational Background

Aaron Moloisi after completing Matric he attended Fort Hare University and completed his BSC in Chemistry and Microbiology. Later Aaron was hired by an IT company as part of a graduate placement programme.

Career

In 2002 he decided to venture into the television industry. He was selected to present Take 5 for SABC1, where he was the face of the show together with producing inserts.

Later in 2002 he was asked to join the team of SABC2’s The Big Question as a field reporter, which he presented until 2006.

In 2007 Aaron made his acting debut in the lead role in the controversial mini-series After Nine on SABC1. In 2008 he joined the team of Shift, where he has worked ever since.

In 2007 he played the starring role of Hector in the controversial SABC1 mini-series After Nine. He was also an anchor on the SABC3 investigative show Special Assignment.

In 2013 he was the host of the SABC1 reality competition Rize Mzansi.

He played the role of a prosecutor on SABC1 soapie drama Skeem Saam and also played a cameo role on Mzansi Magic’s popular soapie The Queen as Madimetja.

Aaron Moloisi is currently a presenter on the SABC Education talk show Shift, on SABC1, since 2008.
