WAAW Foundation: Scholarships 2024

The WAAW Foundation Scholarship 2024 is now open for applications from African female students pursuing STEM-related courses to apply for its Scholarship Programme for the 2025 academic year.

Application Closing: 30 November 2024

This scholarship is designed to support young women in their educational journey by offering a one-time award of $500 to help cover academic expenses.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Female students of African origin, living and studying in Africa.
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program.
• Studying STEM-related courses at a university or college in Africa.
• In the first or second year of study (or third year for 5-year courses).
• Able to demonstrate financial need.
• Has an excellent academic record.
• Proven experience in leadership, volunteering, and community service.
• Under the age of 32 years.

By winning this scholarship, students can concentrate on their academic goals while actively promoting the engagement of women in STEM through the STEM Outreach Chapter at their respective universities.
