United Manganese of Kalahari invites South African unemployed graduates to apply for the Mining Learnership Programme 2023 / 2024.

The Mine is situated in Hotazel district, Northem Cape. We are looking for suitably qualified candidate to occupy the following position:
JOB PURPOSE
The program is aimed at empowering candidate/s wishing to undergo training and development In the open cast Mining to expand their knowledge and benefit from on-the-job training in the Mining Department. You will be expected to acquire competencies needed to overseer safe and efficient blasting skills and other mining activities in an open cast environment.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12/Matric with Mathematics and Science. Applicants must be from the local communities. Demonstrate technical skills. Be disciplined and responsible. Positive attitude, dependable, ethical, and reliable. Be declared medically fit for the role and to meet the minimum standards of fitness to work in a mining environment. Ability to demonstrate basic communication and report writing skills. Ability to work and deliver under pressure. Willingness to work shifts and/or standby as and when required.
