UFS invites students to apply for Honours & Masters Bursary Programme 2024 academic year.

Bursaries will be awarded for Honours and Masters studies at UFS, to students in need of financial support.
MORE ABOUT THE UFS BURSARY PROGRAMME – VALUE & OBLIGATION
Students will receive funding to the value of R41 000 each.
Bursary recipients will be required to be available for 120 hours during the academic year for duties as CTL tutors, student and academic assistants and markers, with responsibilities as assigned to them by the university. Students will be paid for these hours while completing their studies.
Requirements
Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered):
Honours bursary applicants:
- You must have achieved a minimum final mark average of 70%
- You must intend on applying for and completing a Master’s degree, after completion of the Honours degree
- You must meet the admission requirements of the Faculty at UFS
Masters bursary applicants:
- You must have achieved a minimum Honours mark of 70%
