Transnet Young Professional In Training – Property Management Position
Transnet Property is inviting external applicants to apply for the Young Professional In Training – Property Management position. The role aims to provide practical experience and exposure in a position of responsibility within Property Management. Preference will be given to suitably qualified applicants from designated groups in line with the Employment Equity Plan and Targets of the organization.

Position Purpose:
To gain practical experience and exposure in a position of responsibility and to demonstrate that education, training, experience, and professional development have enabled the discharge of responsibilities in Property Management. The opportunity exposes candidates to the operations, control, maintenance, and oversight of real estate and physical property.
Position Outputs:
As a Young Professional In Training, responsibilities include shadowing staff members, participating in learning experiences, attending meetings and workshops, and gaining practical experience in areas such as:
- Tenant Management
- Lease Management
- Property Marketing Management
- Facilities Management
- Billing and Credit Control
- Non Gross Lettable Area (Non GLA) Management
- Risk Management
- Performance Management, Talent Management, and Capacity Building
- HR System & Governance & Employee Relations
- Various projects aligned with the program outcomes
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor of Science or Commerce in Property Studies, Property Valuation, or other Real Estate Related Stream.
- National Diploma in real estate studies (NQF 6) are encouraged.
- Postgraduate Studies are an added advantage.
- Some vocational experience would be an added advantage.
- A positive attitude and a growth mindset are essential.
