Position Purpose

The purpose of this role is to coordinate and support infrastructure maintenance initiatives and lead process improvements across the Transnet Freight Rail (TFR) operations. The successful candidate will drive continuous improvement and support key projects with significant operational impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating process improvement initiatives
  • Analyzing TFR-related projects to enhance operational performance
  • Leading the implementation of key infrastructure maintenance projects
  • Supporting continuous improvement efforts in the project management environment
  • Collaborating with various teams to ensure seamless operational processes

Qualifications and Experience

  • National Diploma in Industrial Engineering
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in infrastructure maintenance or in a continuous improvement/project management environment
  • Proven track record of implementing key operational projects
  • Valid Code B Driver’s License with competency in driving such a vehicle
