Standard Bank invites South African unemployed youth to apply for Learnership Programme 2024.
Learnership Location: Gauteng, Northwest, Mpumalanga, Westerna Cape, Eastern Cape, Northren Cape, KZN), All Provinces
Learnership Closing Date: 22 December 2023
Job Overview:
- Role: Engaging with customers, problem-solving, sales, and service within a contact centre environment.
- Focus: Transactional banking with an emphasis on service.
- Opportunity: Gain experience in various Voice Branch roles.
Learning and Experience:
- Gain work experience while completing a Banking qualification at an NQF level 5.
- Become FAIS accredited, opening opportunities for banking employment across South Africa.
- Develop proficiency in several areas including understanding banking processes, sales, service skills, information processing, financial and regulatory frameworks, customer demands, resolution of client inquiries, relationship building, workload prioritization, and time management.
- Maintain high standards of sales and service in communication through telephone and email.
Qualifications Required:
- Completion of a post-Matric 3-year Finance/Banking-related qualification.
Additional Criteria:
- South African citizenship.
- Age between 18 and 30.
- Proficiency in spoken, written, and reading English.
- Computer literacy.
- Not permanently employed elsewhere.
- Not currently enrolled in another institution.
