Standard Bank is calling on South African graduates to apply for its exciting Business and Commercial Banking (BCB) Technology Graduate Programme 2025, based at its Simmonds and Rosebank offices in Johannesburg. This is a full-time, immersive opportunity for graduates eager to join the digital evolution of one of Africa’s leading banks.
The programme offers hands-on experience across Cloud, Web, Digital, and Automation technologies, while working on innovative banking platforms and real-world projects. Graduates receive tailored mentorship, training, and a development plan to ensure career success in the fast-paced tech landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with tech teams to build and deliver tested software solutions
- Learn and apply software development and tech innovation skills
- Participate in team workshops, meetings, and development sessions
- Stay informed about current technology trends
- Assist with reporting, analytics, and business insights to support decision-making
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must be under the age of 30
- Maximum two years of work experience
- Minimum 65% average across all academic years
- Currently completing or completed in 2025 a Bachelor’s, Honours, or Master’s degree in:
- Computer Science
- Software Engineering
- Informatics / Information Systems
- Mechatronics / Robotics
- Electronic Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
