Apprenticeship Location: Uitenhage and Hartbeespoort
Sovereign Foods is offering opportunities to suitably qualified candidates to undergo a 4 year apprenticeship programme which will result in a national qualification. The successful candidates will join our Maintenance Department for the duration of their Apprenticeship, rotating within the different sites in Uitenhage and Hartbeespoort. The ideal candidate must be in possession of N3 certificate with Maths, Science and Trade theory 01 Technical Matric certificate as a minimum. Individuals who are employed will have to resign from their current positions once they have been accepted to join the programrne.

- Fitting x 5
- Fitting & Turning x 1
- Refrigeration x 2
- Mechatronics – Automation specialist x 2
- Millwright x 1
- Diesel Mechanic x 1
Critical Competencies and Skills
- Minimum of N3 certificate with Maths, Science and Trade theory.
- Older than 16 years.
- Ability to work with diverse groups.
- Knowledge of basic hand tools relevant to the trade.
