South32 invites South African unemployed graduates to apply for IT Internship Programme 2024 / 2025.

Location: Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal
As a Graduate Information Technology (IT), you will be responsible to centralise our technical core systems and bring together the producers of technology with the consumers of technology in South32 by making services simple to access through automated and self-service products.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
- Ensure effective and efficient delivery of technology services and solutions to the operation and take responsibility for the support of all Technology activities;
- Adhere to the Technology processes and procedures specifically the customer and strategies;
- Ensure adherence to service level requirements;
- Maintain professional relationship with all Technology stakeholders;
- Requires a person with an explicit safe work attitude and culture;
- Maintain a strong awareness of business processes that Technology supports and seek to continuously improve the processes while minimising disruption;
- Contribute to the development and improvement of the Technology service deliverables;
- Contribute to the fostering of a continuous improvement culture to ensure ongoing enhancement and optimization of Technology capabilities and technical skills.
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- Exposure to Microsoft Office Suite (Excel,PowerPoint) will be advantageous;
- Have an inclination to work in heavy industry;
- Good communication, analytical and logical thinking skills will be preferable;
- Attention to detail and the ability to work within a team is essential;
- Any vacation work experience or practical training experience with exposure to IT will be advantageous.
Qualifications for this role are:
- Serious contenders will have a Degree/BTECH/National Diploma in IT.
