South African Special Risk Insurance Association (SASRIA): Bursaries 2024
South African Special Risk Insurance Association (SASRIA) invites eligible South African students to submit applications for the Bursary Programme for the academic year 2024.
Bursary application closing date is 07 January 2024.
- Sasria SOC Ltd is the sole non-life insurer offering special risk cover to individuals, businesses, and government entities in South Africa.
- This unique cover protects against risks such as civil commotion, public disorder, strikes, riots, and terrorism, providing affordable insurance to safeguard assets.
Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- South African citizenship.
- Currently in Matric or completed Matric.
- Aged between 18-35.
- Applying for the first year in the 2024 academic year.
- Minimum average B symbol (70%) in Matric.
- Pursuing full-time undergraduate degrees in specific fields like Insurance, Business Economics, Accounting, Investment, Finance, BSc Information Technology, and Mathematics.
Application Requirements: Ensure you have the necessary documentation:
- Certified copy of South African ID or card (both sides).
- Certified copy of Matric certificate (or latest Grade 12 report if currently in Grade 12).
- Proof of parents’/guardians’ income, which varies depending on their employment status.
Application Deadline: Applications close on the 7th of January 2024 at 12h00.
