Sibanye-Stillwater invites South African students to apply for Bursary Programme 2025 academic year.

- Electrical Engineering
- Geology
- Instrumentation Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Metallurgy Engineering
- Mining Engineering
- Mining Survey
- Rock Engineering
Number of Bursaries Available: 26
Eligibility Requirements:
- Reside within the Marikana local community or labour sending areas (North West).
- Be currently in Matric or have completed Matric.
- Achieved a university acceptance pass in Matric with a minimum APS of 23.
- Achieved a minimum of 60% in:
- English
- Mathematics
- Physical Science
- If already studying, a minimum overall average of 60% in the first semester is required.
- Must be studying or accepted to study a relevant qualification.
- Must be registered or accepted at one of the following institutions:
- University of Johannesburg (UJ)
- University of the Witwatersrand (WITS)
- University of Pretoria (UP)
- North-West University (NWU)
- Must be declared medically fit as determined by a medical examination at Sibanye-Stillwater Occupational Health Centre.
- Preference will be given to students from designated groups.
Selection Process:
- Shortlisted candidates will attend a panel interview.
- May include pre-screening and psychometric evaluation.
- Candidates must undergo a risk-based medical examination at Sibanye-Stillwater Occupational Health Centre.
- Shortlisted candidates will be contacted within 14 days after the bursary closing date.
