Episode 2248  

Someone Thembeka trusted is revealed to have been a very weak link.  A game of tricks helps Anzani get back to a place that she never wanted to be in again. Gontse receives upsetting news but is talked into keeping quiet about it.

Episode 2249        

Thembeka is forced to cave into an expensive demand but is given no guarantee that she will not have to cough up more. A tentative commitment is made to saving Lerumo’s life, but it can only be secured by a promise of Anzani’s. Gloria is sidelined from a business idea she had her heart set on.

Anzani barters with the devil to save the love of her life. Quinton and Thembeka agree on an important element of their wedding but Thembeka’s joy is short-lived. Gontse is forced to lie to keep the peace in her home.

Anzani is forced to agree to something unspeakable to save Lerumo’s life. Thembeka is faced with a sight which has her realizing that she is dealing with a very serious threat. Someone’s success means that Gontse and Ndumiso’s hopes are dashed.

Anzani and Lerumo receive devastating news which forces Anzani to return to her pact with the devil. Thembeka feels the walls closing in on her, but still manages to alienate an enemy even further. Gloria has grand plans which make a friend very concerned.

An unexpected proposition which could save Lerumo’s life causes Anzani to make an desirable decision.  Dintle identifies a special occasion as an opportunity to make mischief.  News of Gloria’s grand plans has Gontse extremely worried.

Just as it appears that success may be in sight, a distraught phone call sends Anzani back to square one. An excuse which was not thought through properly leads to Thembeka having to pay yet another person to maintain her deception. Gontse reaches a realisation which is going to give her a sleepless night.

Anzani is forced to reveal the identity of Lerumo’s saviour to someone and goes to reward the saviour like a lamb to the slaughter. Thembeka has to part with something very precious to her in order to keep her secret safe. Gontse makes two decisions: not to tell someone the truth and to enter into a bet with someone else.

Having given the man she loathes his reward, Anzani can barely bring herself to face the man she loves. Thembeka makes a promise to keep a new secret from leaking, but entertains extreme thoughts to keep her original secret safe. Gloria makes a life changing move, but reverses her decision when a longed for dream comes true.

Layla is caught out in several lies which puts her back against the wall.  Phehello honours a bargain but has another condition which makes Anzani’s life even more difficult.  Gloria wants to turn to technology for help and Gontse tries to deny some feelings.

Layla tells a half truth which appeases someone close to her, but does not win his trust. Anzani does not realise that she is being followed by someone who could destroy all her plans. Gontse becomes desperate and decides to cross a moral boundary.

Dintle makes requests of two people which could have distressing consequences for Quinton and Thembeka. Anzani makes a major commitment to Lerumo, but receives terrible news which makes her wonder if she will be able to fulfil that commitment. Gloria is distraught when she finds out that an item which will guarantee her future happiness is missing.

Quinton wakes up to discover that he has committed the classic sin of a man on the brink of marriage. A life is saved but at a cost that is overwhelming for a loved one. A chapter finally closes for Gloria and she makes a reluctant decision about her future.

A photograph which could prove to be Quinton’s undoing is handed over at the prison. Anzani is betrayed by someone she thought would protect her secret through thick and thin. Gloria’s plans receive an unexpected rejuvenation via Thembeka.

When presented with an opportunity to bring down her enemy, Layla makes a surprising decision. Anzani is falsely accused of betrayal and starts to suspect who the real culprit could be. Ndumiso finds himself in dire straits because of someone else’s actions.

A promise is made not to destroy a special occasion, but just how sincere that promise is remains to be seen. Beatrice makes a startling admission which has Anzani seeing her in a different light. Gontse wants to right a wrong but realises it’s not going to be easy.

Someone pays the ultimate price for showing up uninvited at the wedding.  Mangi is shocked and Thembeka is furious when they see the wedding day edition of Scandal!. ‘Something borrowed’ is met with scorn and the lender seeks revenge.

Just when Thembeka thinks she has dealt with a major problem, two more thorns in her side arrive at the wedding and make their presence felt.  Wardrobe and jewellery disasters are dealt with but the blushing bride knows they could return to bite her. Phehello starts to manipulate a potential ally.

Thembeka makes a trip on her wedding night which she hopes will keep her terrible secret hidden forever.  A message from beyond the grave makes someone very angry. Ndumiso believes he is being treated very unfairly and takes action which upsets Gontse.

Thembeka leaves for honeymoon hoping all loose ends which could rob her of her freedom have been tied up. Phehello takes drastic and painful action to try and save himself. Gontse is about to go back to Dubai but has one last fling.
