The SAMPRA Development Fund is offering exciting internship opportunities for graduates who are eager to develop skills and gain experience in the South African music industry. These internships are in partnership with Universal Music Africa in Rosebank, Gauteng.

Internship Opportunities Available:
- Marketing Interns (2 Positions)
- Core Exposure Areas:
- Radio & DJ Sampling: Distribute new music to radio stations and resubmit songs with growth potential.
- Music Video Servicing: Distribute music videos weekly via the Ci platform to music channels.
- Reports: Update radio spins, chart positions, and compile reports for international label partners.
- Media Lists: Monitor media platforms, update contacts, and add new media for content distribution.
- African Media Lists: Expand and maintain African media contacts.
- Weekly Newsletter: Compile a Content Capsule with updates from international label partners.
- Ad Hoc: Create marketing materials using Canva and assist with internal events and promotional activities.

- Send out press releases and press blasts to media.
- Cold call potential media houses for music promotion.
- Invite media to Universal Music events.
- Call radio stations for artist interviews and promotion.

Key Requirements for All Internships:
- Completed qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Marketing, PR, Communications, etc.).
- No work experience required.
- Proof of qualification (certified copy of transcript and/or qualification).
- Should be based near or within a driving distance of Rosebank.
- South African citizen.
- Above-average communication skills.
- Strong time management skills.
- Passionate about music and possess a positive, energetic attitude.
- Willingness to attend company events, including those on weekends or evenings.
