Remuneration: The Interns will receive a stipend of R 4000.00 per month for Diploma and R7 000.00 per month for Degree Duration: 01 November 2015 to 31 October 2016 (12 months)The Roads Agency Limpopo is an equal opportunity, affirmative action employer.

The internship is aimed at enhancing employability of graduates as potential employees.
Human Resource Management (x2)
Requirements (Three year Degree or Diploma): National Diploma or BTech or Degree in Labour Relations or Human Resource or Human Resource Development.
Intern responsibilities include but not limited to the following: • Conditions of Service • Recruitment • HR data capturing & any other Human Resource related matters • Collective Bargaining • Assist with employee discipline, discharge and grievances • Conduct employee misconduct internal investigations & other Labour Relations duties.
Finance (x3)
Requirements (Three year Degree or Diploma): National Diploma/B Degree majoring in Financial Accounting, Cost and Management Accounting or Financial Management.
Intern responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
Assist with the following areas of work: • Expenditure Management • Revenue Management • Budget and Forecasting Monitoring • Cash Flow Monitoring • Sale of tender documents • Monthly and Quarterly Reporting • Routine admin tasks including filing and handling of finance correspondence.
Legal Services (x1)
Requirements (Three year Degree or Diploma): LLB/equivalent 4-year Degree.
Intern responsibilities include but not limited to the following: • Vetting, review and drafting of basic contracts
(Service Level Agreements, Memorandum of Agreements & Memorandum of Understanding) • Monitoring of contracts throughout the life-cycle • Monitoring & Maintenance of Contract/Service Level Agreement register • Drafting of monthly reports on status of contracts • Litigation matters.
Internal Audit (x1)
Requirements (Three year Degree or Diploma): BCom/National Diploma with internal Audit/Audit/Risk
Management as major subject.
Intern responsibilities include but not limited to the following: • Perform follow-up of internal audit action plan, risk mitigation measures and AG Action Plan • Maintain the internal audit findings register • Plan, execute and perform internal audit projects subject to review • Assist in developing the annual plans for risk and control • Implement the plans for risk and control • Assist in the facilitation of the risk assessments and maintain risk registers • Assist in fraud and corruption initiatives • Liaise with the Auditor General and stakeholders to facilitate RFI and COF responses • Assist processes owners in drafting AG Action Plan and maintain the AG Action Plan
• Initiate the policy development process and maintain policy register • Maintain statutory, financial and performance registers • Perform investigations under supervision • Draft reports and statutory reports/returns for review • Liaise with stakeholders • Provide secretariat services to unit.
