- National Senior Certificate with Maths and Science
- N3 with Electrical or Mechanical Trade Theory, Mathematics and Engineering Science
- NCV 3 qualification in Electrical or Mechanical
Skills and Behavioural attributes
- Good learning orientation as well as the ability to apply acquired knowlwdge
- Good problem solving ability
- Must be prepared to travel and train from home
- Good communication and decision making skills
- Physically fit and strong with good eye coordination
- No fear of heights
