Richards Bay Coal Terminal (RBCT) invites students to submit applications for the Bursary Programme for the academic year 2024.
Bursary application closing date is 15 May 2024
Fields of Study:
- Accounting (BCom)
- Computer Science / Information Technology (IT) (BSc)
- Human Resources Management (BCom)
- Electrical Engineering (BSc / BEng / BEng Tech / National Diploma)
- Mechanical Engineering (BSc / BEng / BEng Tech / National Diploma)
Bursary Program Selection: Shortlisted applicants will be contacted and required to participate in an assessment program. If you do not receive feedback by 15 March 2024, consider your application unsuccessful.
Eligibility Criteria:
- South African citizen
- Completed Matric
- Full-time student or intending to study toward a qualification in the specified fields
- Studying or intending to study at a recognized and accredited tertiary institution in South Africa
- Proven financial need
- Preference given to students residing within the King Cetshwayo District Municipality areas (previously uThungulu District Municipality), KwaZulu-Natal province (applicants from outside this area are also encouraged)
How to Apply:
- Download and complete the [RBCT Bursary Application Form 2024](insert PDF link).
- Submit clear copies of the following documents along with your completed application form:
- ID document (certified copy)
- Grade 11 final results AND Matric certificate (certified copy)
- Latest tertiary academic results, if currently studying (certified copy)
- Proof of application/registration at a recognized tertiary institute, if available
- Parents or guardians’ ID documents (certified copies)
- Parents or guardians’ proof of income (latest payslips if employed/affidavit if unemployed)
- Motivational letter
- Short Curriculum Vitae (maximum 1 page)
