About the Programme: RCL FOODS Milling is launching an apprenticeship programme and is inviting suitable candidates to apply. The apprenticeship program is based in Pretoria West, Gauteng, South Africa. The successful candidates will be responsible for electrical machinery maintenance, preparation of design drawings, and conducting site investigations.
Key Responsibilities: The key responsibilities of the Electrical Technical Apprentice include electrical machinery maintenance, preparation of design drawings (AutoCAD drafting of electrical construction documents), site investigations to document existing electrical systems and equipment, attending internal project meetings to review project status and resource coordination, making suggestions for future upgrades, assisting with breakdowns and troubleshooting, identifying risks in electrical equipment, and performing duties in line with HACCP and Safety Requirements.
Requirements: To be considered for this apprenticeship, candidates need to have the following qualifications:
- Grade 12 with at least an N3 qualification or NCV Level 4.
- N4 and above qualifications will be an advantage.
Successful candidates should be self-driven, able to work with minimal supervision, and possess leadership skills. The required subjects include Mathematics, Engineering Science, Industrial Electronics, Electrical Technology, Electrotechnology, or Electrotechnics.
