About the Role
This internship is designed for learners who require practical, 12-month workplace experience to complete their studies. If you’ve not yet completed your qualification, this could be your gateway into the exciting world of manufacturing and production.
You’ll be exposed to a real-world production environment, reporting directly to the Production Manager, and gain hands-on experience in operations, engineering, and production systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform tasks and receive training under the guidance of the Production Manager and Operations Team
- Actively participate in projects from initiation to completion
- Support various operational tasks aligned with your academic background
Minimum Requirements
To be eligible, candidates must:
- Be currently enrolled and have completed all S5 theoretical training or hold an NQF Level 5 qualification in one of the following:
- Industrial Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering (Electronic / Power / Process Control & Computer Systems)
- Chemical Engineering
- Mechatronics Engineering
- Operations Management
- Have an average of 50% or higher at NQF Level 5
- Be a self-starter with good communication and listening skills
- Pay attention to detail and be well-organized
- Possess analytical and time management skills
- Be able to work both independently and in a team under pressure
