Intern: Human Resources

The Public Servants Association of South Africa is looking to employ a Human Resources Intern for a period of 12 months in order to provide the incumbent with related skills and competencies and to assist with the execution of related activities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • A relevant full qualification with at least a NQF level 7 (degree) in Human Resources
  • Applicant must have no experience in the field of Human Resources

*( full qualification = at least 120 credits )
RECOMMENDATIONS

  • A valid Code EB driver’s license

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
The intern will be exposed to the following Human Resources activities, which list is not exhaustive:

  • Recruitment and Selection
  • Employee Relations
  • Employment Equity
  • Learning and Development
  • General Human Resources activities
  • VIP Payroll

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND COMPETENCIES

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)
  • Interpersonal Skills
  • Administrative and Organisational Skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Innovation
  • Works well as part of a team
  • Effective Communication; Verbal and Written Communication Skills

Intern: Communication Officer

The Public Servants Association of South Africa is looking to employ an Intern: Communication Officer for a period of 12 months in order to provide the incumbent with related skills and competencies and to assist with the execution of related activities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • A relevant full qualification with at least a NQF level 7 ( BTech or similar) in Journalism
  • Applicant must have no experience in the field of Communication/Media

( full qualification = at least 120 credits )
RECOMMENDATIONS

  • A valid Code EB driver’s license

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

  • All-round exposure to the operations of the Communication/Social Responsibility Section with a focus on journalism, media releases, etc. Written communication will be a Key Performance Area.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND COMPETENCIES

  • Ability to independently research and write content for various publications and media statements
  • Editing/proof reading skills
  • Strict deadline compliance
  • Effective Communication; Verbal and Written Communication Skills
