Selection and Qualifying Criteria
To be considered for the Artisan Aide Skills Programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must have Grade 12.
- Must be an unemployed South African citizen who has not previously participated in similar training.
- Aged between 18 – 35 years with no criminal record.
- Must be medically fit to work in all areas.
- Shortlisted candidates will undergo pre-screening assessments and interviews.
Required Documents
Applicants must submit the following documents:
- Cover Letter – Clearly indicate the position you are applying for.
- Certified Copy of Academic Results – Full Nated course (Four subjects @ N2/N3, etc.), NCV Level 3 certificate (all 7 subjects), or Technical Matric Certificate with Math (E symbol), Physical Science (E-symbol), and Trade-related theory subject. (Math Literacy is not acceptable.)
- Comprehensive Curriculum Vitae (CV).
- Certified Copy of ID.
- Certified Copy of Matric Certificate.
- Proof of Residential Address – For Ba-Phalaborwa communities (e.g., Maseke, Lulekani, Makhushane, Namakgale, Benfarm, Selwane, Mashishimale, and Phalaborwa Town). Acceptable documents include a Municipal letter or Tribal Authority letter certified by a Commissioner of Oaths.
