What Fields of Study Are Covered?
The Ninety One Bursary supports a wide range of high-demand careers. If you’re planning to pursue full-time undergraduate studies in any of the following fields, this bursary is for you:
- Business, Finance, and Economics
- Education (Mathematics and Science only)
- Engineering
- Healthcare (excluding Dentistry, Medicine, and Veterinary Science)
- Technology and Computer Science
- Psychology
What Does the Bursary Cover?
The Ninety One Bursary offers comprehensive financial and developmental support, including:
- Full tuition fees
- Learning materials
- Accommodation and meals
- Private tutoring (where necessary)
- Mental health and resilience support
- Financial wellbeing and career guidance
Top-performing students may also receive:
- Assistance with obtaining a driver’s license
- A professional wardrobe for their first job after graduation
Who Should Apply?
To qualify for the Ninety One Bursary, you must:
- Be a South African citizen
- Be under 21 years old in 2026
- Be in Matric in 2025
- Plan to study full-time in one of the approved fields at a recognised South African university
- Be entering your first year of university in 2026
- Have preferably achieved 70%+ overall or Level 6 in English and Mathematics/Sciences in Grade 11
- Have a total household income under R600,000 per year
- Demonstrate academic excellence and leadership potential

- Certified Grade 11 final results and latest Matric results
