Ndwedwe Local Municipality is offering an exciting opportunity for aspiring finance professionals to join its Finance Department as Finance Interns. This 24-month internship aims to provide hands-on experience and training in financial accounting, reporting, and municipal financial management within a supportive environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 Certificate
• Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma in Financial Accounting and/or Auditing
• Valid driver’s license (added advantage)
• Residency in Ndwedwe Local Municipality (proof required)

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:

• Basic knowledge of monthly reconciliations and local government reporting framework
• Strong communication skills
• Accountancy and numeracy skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team
• Computer literacy (MS Office applications)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing accepted accounting practices and budgetary reforms
• Undergo training in Financial Accounting and Reporting, Supply Chain Management, Budget, Revenue, and Expenditure Management
• Maintain high levels of responsibility and attention to detail
