National Metrology Institute of South Africa (NMISA) invites South African unemployed graduates to apply for Internship Programme 2022 / 2023.
Internship Location: Pretoria, Gauteng
Internship Closing Date: 04 May 2022
Salary Range (differentiated according to the level of qualification): R 6 375.00 – R 8 375.00 per month.
INTERNSHIP: SAFETY HEALTH ENVIRONMENT & QUALITY (SHEQ) X1 (12 months)
Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience
- Three-year tertiary qualification in the field of Safety Management /Quality Management or related field
- Postgraduate qualification will be added advantage
- Basic knowledge of EHS legislation
- Basic Knowledge of Management System standards, particularly ISO 14001, ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO/IEC 17025.
- Computer Literate and proficient with MS Office software packages
- Attention to detail, good communication and organisational skills.
- Good administrative skills
INTERNSHIP: ELECTRONICS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Three-year tertiary qualification in the field of (Electronics) or equivalent
- Postgraduate qualification will be added advantage •
- Appropriate qualification or education practical experience
- Knowledge of a wide variety of materials and electronic components
- Up to date with leading edge electronic components and industrial equipment
- Automation of systems using programming and electronic design
INTERNSHIP DOSIMETRY X2 (12 months)
Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience:
- BSc Honours in Physics or equivalent qualification
- Mathematical and statistical knowledge.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office.
- Knowledge of Radiation Physics (dosimetry) will be an added advantage.
INTERNSHIP: MECHANICAL
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Three-year tertiary qualification in the field of Mechanical engineering
- Postgraduate degree will be an added advantage
