MultiChoice Talent Factory (MTF) Training Programme 2024

MultiChoice Talent Factory (MTF) invites South African unemployed graduates to apply for Training Programme 2024.

Program Overview:

  • Formerly known as the M-Net Magic in Motion (MIM) programme, the new MultiChoice Talent Factory South Africa is part of MultiChoice Africa’s broader MTF programme.
  • It’s a year-long industry readiness program designed to provide young, talented African storytellers with knowledge and skills in various aspects of TV and film production.
  • The curriculum includes subjects such as business of film, film appreciation, fundamentals of production, cross-media/digital laboratory, experiential learning/immersion, and student films.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicants must be South African citizens.
  • Completed Matric (Grade 12).
  • Hold a 3-year Diploma or Degree in Film/TV or a related qualification (Drama, Acting, Journalism, etc.).
  • Completed the qualification within the last two years (in 2022 or 2023).
  • Minimum overall aggregate of a C+.
  • Should not have participated in the 2023 Academy interns programme.

How to apply

  • Applications must be submitted online at: MTF Training Programme Application 2024
  • Include clear copies of necessary supporting documents such as ID document, Matric certificate, full academic transcripts/qualification certificate, confirmation of banking details, proof of address with an affidavit, updated Curriculum Vitae, and a motivational letter (max 500 words).

  • All applicants will undergo a credit, criminal, and verification check.
  • MultiChoice’s decision for the selection of interns for the 2024 training programme is final.
  • Employment is not guaranteed upon completion of the programme.
  • MultiChoice reserves the right to terminate the internship at any time.
