The position of HR Intern sits within the Human Resource Department. The successful candidate will have the exciting opportunity to learn and contribute to key HR assignments by providing comprehensive, effective and efficient administrative support and coordination. Specification
Customer Service / Relationship Building
Create strong partnerships with colleagues, employees, line managers and business leaders in order to embed human resource functions, policies and practices across the company.
Recruitment and Selection
-Administer vacancy management processes, i.e. post vacancies on Career portals, screen applications, and provide feedback to applicants.
-Make arrangements for interviews, including email inviations, venue bookings and printing interview packs.
Ensure all reference and vetting checks are carried out fully and in a timely manner.
Create Recruitment and Selection files for hard copy (confidential lockers) and soft copy (restricted drive) storage.
On-boarding and Induction
-Support On-boarding and Induction process as required.
-Ensure all new staff have been registered on HR related systems
Employee Relations
-File employee relation information and documents
-Arrange bookings, aesthetics and set-up meeting room with recording device.
-Send disciplinary notices via post / courier to reach employee within required period, as
needed.
HR Projects
-Support HR Projects which contribute to the building of human resources within the organization
-Support the efficient implementation of the HR calendar
Exits / Terminations
Conduct full Exit / Termination policy and processes
General Administrative Support
– Distribute correspondence with staff.
– Maintain electronic and manual staff files as well as staff lists.
– Update and maintain other HR related schedules and records for reporting and payroll
processing.
– Ensure all payroll related documentation is accurate and submitted to the Payroll team by the
relevant closing date

Requirements
Educational Requirements & Experience
•Recognised HR Qualification or studying towards one
•Basic understanding of HR Policies, Procedures and Legislation
•1-3 years working experience in an HR environment advantageous
•Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint
