The Master Builders’ Association Development Trust (MBADT) offers a bursary program for young South African citizens who have completed their basic education in schools within the jurisdiction of the Western Cape.   1. Nationality & Education: Only South African citizens who completed their basic education within Western Cape schools will be considered.
  2. Disciplines: Bursaries are for students pursuing careers in specific disciplines within the building industry.
  3. Financial Need: Applicant’s parents/guardians’ income should fall within the range of R350,000 – R600,000 per annum.
  4. Funding Exclusion: Applicants should not qualify for NSFAS funding or any other bursary fund or SETA (CETA) support.
  5. Preference: Preference given to applicants who are family members or employees of MBAWC member companies, and those employed by compliant member companies for a minimum of 24 months.
