Limpopo Department of Public Works Bursaries 2025

Limpopo Department of Public Works invites eligible South African students to submit applications for the Bursary Programme for the academic year 2025.

Bursary application closing date is 15 November 2024.

Fields of Study: Bursaries are offered for the following fields within the Built Environment:

• Architectural Science
• Building Engineering/ Science
• Civil Engineering
• Construction Management
• Electrical Engineering
• Geographic Information System (GIS)
• Land Surveying
• Landscaping/ Horticulture
• Mechanical Engineering
• Property Science/ Real Estate
• Quantity Surveying
• Town and Regional Planning

Benefits:

• Covers registration fees, tuition, prescribed textbooks, accommodation, and meals.
• Recipients are required to submit proof of registration and sign the bursary agreement before payment is made.
• A mandatory work-back period equal to the duration of the bursary applies after graduation.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Must be a South African citizen and reside in Limpopo province.
• Must have completed Matric or be in Matric.
• Must be studying or intend to study in one of the specified fields for the 2025 academic year.
• Must be accepted or enrolled at a recognized South African tertiary institution.
• Preference for students from previously disadvantaged backgrounds and those with disabilities.

• Matric certificate or latest results
• June/September school report
• Full academic records (if applicable, on institution letterhead)
• Proof of acceptance or conditional acceptance from a tertiary institution

Selection Process:

• Final selection is done by the Training Committee, and successful candidates will be notified in writing and required to sign a bursary agreement.
