The Local Government Sector Education and Training Authority (LGSETA)invites you to apply for Internships Programme for 2016/2017.

CEO[x1]CEO/ 01 / 2016 Degree or National Diploma in any of the following study fields: Social Science, Policy Development, Development Studies AND Public Policy.

Strategy and planning [x2]SP / 01 / 2016 Degree or National Diploma in any of the following study fields: Social Science, Policy Development, Development Studies and Public Policy.

Finance [x2]FIN / 01 / 2016 Degree or National Diploma in Finance and  /  or Accounting.

Supply Chain Management [x1]SCM / 01 / 2016 Degree or National Diploma in Supply Chain Management and Purchasing.

Marketing and Communications [x1]COMMS / 01 / 2016 Degree or National Diploma in Graphic Design. Proficiency in Adobe CS6 (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator) and Microsoft Office Suite. Basic knowledge of HTML 5, JavaScript and CSS. Proficiency in working with brand and writing style guides is preferred. Able tdeliver in a fast paced, high pressure environment. Printing Basic LINUX knowledge is advantageous.

Information Technology [x1]IT / 01 / 2016 Degree or National Diploma in Computer Science; Information Technology

Gauteng & North west Provincial Office [x2]GP&NW / 01 / 2016 Degree or National Diploma in Public Administration, Social Science.

Northern Cape & Free state Provincial Office [x2]NC&FS01 / 2016 Degree or National Diploma in Public Administration, Social Science.

Western Cape Provincial Office [x1]WC / 01 / 2016 Degree or National Diploma in Public Administration, Social Science.

KZN Provincial Office [x2]KZN / 01 / 2016 Degree or National Diploma in Public Administration, Social Science.

Eastern Cape Provincial Office [x3] EC01 / 2016 Degree or National Diploma in Public Administration, Social Science.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric certificate;
• Successfully completed a 3 or 4 year degree /  diploma in the discipline the application is being made;
• Be computer literate with MS packages. MS Project in certain disciplines will be an advantage;
• Be a South African citizen and under the age of 25;
• Not have previously completed an internship; Have nprior working experience in the field of study;
• Have excellent communication skills (spoken and written);
• Be prepared tenter inta learning agreement for 12 months commencing on 1 April 2016
• Organisational, interpersonal communication and time management skills are required.
• Please note permanent employment after completion of the programme is not guaranteed.
