Who Can Apply?
The programme is aimed at unemployed graduates residing in KwaZulu-Natal.
Applicants must have completed a relevant tertiary qualification certified through graduation, with a minimum of a relevant:
- Three-year Bachelor’s Degree; or
- National/Advanced Diploma.
The qualification must be from a recognised:
- University;
- University of Technology; or
- College.
Applicants must also never have participated in an internship programme offered by National, Provincial or Local Government before.
Additional Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be unemployed graduates residing in KwaZulu-Natal;
- Have the relevant qualification for the internship stream;
- Be computer literate;
- Be prepared to relocate to an advertised office at their own cost; and
- Be prepared to undergo a selection process that may include a technical assessment and structured interview.

Internship Duration
Successful applicants will participate in the programme for:
24 months
The programme provides two years of workplace exposure within the KwaZulu-Natal provincial government environment.
Internship Stipend
