Minimum Requirements
- Education: Grade 12 with Mathematics
- Location: Reside in Namakwa Sands or nearby areas
- Employment Status: Currently unemployed
- NQF Level 4 Subjects:
- Mathematics or Technical Mathematics (not Mathematics Literacy)
- Physical Science or Technical Science
- N3 Diesel Trade Theory and/or N3 Mechanotechnology
- Engineering Graphic and Design
Job Specifications
- Learning: Acquire and understand technical skills under the guidance of experienced staff.
- Demonstration: Apply skills and perform tasks independently or as part of a team.
- Training Modules: Complete prescribed apprentice modules as per merSETA requirements.
- Health and Safety: Understand and practice workplace safety.
- Maintenance: Learn to maintain and repair workshop equipment.
- Record-Keeping: Maintain a logbook of projects and skills acquired.
- Housekeeping: Ensure good housekeeping and professional appearance.
- Additional Duties: Perform any other relevant tasks as required.
