What the iStore IT Support Learnership Offers
This internship is ideal for tech-savvy individuals who want to:
- Gain hands-on experience with Apple products like iPhone, Mac, iPad, and Apple Watch
- Work alongside experienced Apple technicians in a fast-paced, customer-focused retail environment
- Receive training and development in technical support, customer service, and problem-solving
- Get exposed to real-world IT operations, including troubleshooting, configuration, and installation
Key Responsibilities
As an IT Support Intern, you’ll be responsible for:
- Providing technical support to customers in-store and telephonically
- Troubleshooting software and hardware issues
- Installing and configuring Apple products
- Educating customers on how to use their devices
- Keeping accurate records of repairs and support queries
- Supporting smooth technical operations within the store
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the learnership, candidates must have:
- Completed Matric (Grade 12)
- A valid A+ and N+ qualification
- Basic understanding of hardware, software, and networking
- Familiarity with Windows, macOS, and/or Linux
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for customer service and technology
