ISACA Scholarships 2025
ISACA invites South African students to apply for the ISACA Scholarship Programme 2025.
Scholarship Application Closing Date: 6 May 2025 (at 11:59 PM US Central Time)
Scholarship Location: South Africa (for students enrolled at South African institutions)
About the Scholarship:
ISACA, a global leader in IT governance, is offering its 2025 Chapter Scholarship to promote diversity and inclusion in the field of IT audit and cybersecurity. This opportunity is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students from underrepresented communities in technology.
A total of 6 scholarships will be awarded:
- 4 for undergraduate students
- 2 for postgraduate students
Each scholarship is valued at US$1,000, to be paid directly to recipients in July 2025, to support their 2025 academic year study fees.
Fields Covered:
- BSc in Computer Science
- BCom in Information Systems
- Any other technology-related qualification
Scholarship Benefits:
- US$1,000 scholarship
- 1-year ISACA student membership
- One ISACA ITCA or CET certification course
- Access to ISACA’s Mentorship Program
- Entry to one ISACA Virtual Conference
- Tools to start a Student Group at your institution
- Additional ISACA resources and career development support
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must:
- Be 18 years or older
- Be studying towards an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in the relevant fields
- Be enrolled at a South African higher education institution (University, TVET College, or University of Technology)
- Be from an underrepresented community in IT (e.g. race, gender, ethnicity, disability, veteran status)
- Sign up for a free ISACA account
- Agree to attend at least 1 chapter event within 3 months of receiving the award
- Commit to twice-yearly communication with the ISACA Foundation for 2 years about academic and career progress
