Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC) invites applications for a Graduate / Internship Programme 2021.

The HSRC has 1000 internships for graduates who are not able to enter an increasingly hostile and drastically changed labour market. 

This project falls under the Presidential Youth Employment Intervention (PYEI) within the HSC division in partnership with the Department of Science and Innovation.

Successful recruits need to have a Bachelor’s degree (NQF7)/National Diploma (NQF6) in one of the following disciplines:

Education, Economics, Geography, Social Sciences, Public Health, Health Sciences, Finance, Arts, Human Resources, Administration, Law, IT / Computer Sciences and other related disciplines.

The successful recruits will receive training to develop various skills to support their professional and personal growth. Recruits will be deployed to do rapid health risk assessments within local communities and will support other research projects through various tasks in project support and documentation. Groups of recruits will be required to work in the following areas:
