HR and Transformation Intern
HPE are recruiting to employ an HR and transformation Intern who will Support the Transformation Team in daily activities including Skills Development, Preferential Procurement and B-BBBEE Verification.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with B-BBEE reporting tasks.
- Preparing verification documents for skills development and preferential procurement elements.
- Facilitate and communicate training bookings with training providers
- Act as administration clerk for skills development and preferential procurement queries
- Booking and tracking of purchase orders
- Assist Transformation Team updates, meetings and communication
- Following up on requests with suppliers and training providers
- Scan, copy and file relevant documentation for both skills development and preferential procurement
- Assist in any other activities in the HR/Payroll/Transformation department
Knowledge and skills
- Solid Communication skills written and verbal.
- Capacity to learn new skills
- Knowledge of B-BBEE legislation
- Knowledge of Skills Development Act and related legislations
- General understanding of link between skills development legislations and B-BBEE legislation
- Must be a team player.
- Must be able to juggle multiple tasks and competing priorities.
- Requires excellent organizational and time management skills, professionalism, influencing, negotiation, customer experience, communications, and attention to detail.

HR and Operations Intern
HPE are recruiting to employ an HR Operations Intern who will have the chance to develop their skills, build experience and be responsible for operational aspects of HR.
Responsibilities
• Researches customer inquiries; escalates when needed
• Coordinates quality improvement initiatives
• Prepares weekly and monthly procedure reports
• Tracks quality control issues, including error tracking and service delivery
• Employee personnel filing and audits (Internal and External)
• Facilitate the Stannic card application process end-to-end
• Facilitate accounts payable process for HR vendors (GEO)
• Facilitate the administration of new hire and terminations processes
• Drafting letters for employees for various HR requirements
• Ad hoc HR admin tasks
• Co-ordinate recognition nominations
• Compile HR Newsletter (bi-annually)
• Responsible for the operational aspects of employee-from hiring to termination

Junior Marketing Intern
HPE are recruiting to employ a marketing graduate, who will be responsible for monitoring, measuring and analysing the effectiveness of the marketing initiatives as they relate to the overall companies goals. The successful candidate will work closely with the sales team and channel partners ensuring that our campaigns are optimised so that marketing can give sales the highest quality leads.
About the Position
- Support the marketing leader in the planning process of the Channel Marketing budget
- Support the marketing leader in communicating the marketing budget both internally and externally.
- Single point of contact for all channel marketing queries relating to channel marketing plan.
- Support sales in accepting leads from marketing campaigns
- Measure marketing campaign results analyze performance and provide feedback to marketing leader
- Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities
- Update spread sheets, databases with statistical, financial and non-financial information
- Manage marketing calendar
- Establish closed-loop feedback with channel partners to ensure that marketing campaigns are optimized to drive revenue
- Assist in the organizing of promotional events and attend them to facilitate their success
