Greater Kokstad Municipality invites applicants to apply for Health & Safety Internship Programme for 2018 / 2019. The intern are for the period of 2 years.

STIPEND: ( R 7 324.25 PER MONTH )
Minimum Requirements:
- National Diploma / Degree in Safety Management
- SAMTRAC will be an added advantage
Key Performance Areas:
- On the job experience in – Implementation of Occupational & Safety Act and the regulations, National Building Regulations and SANS
- Conducting regular inspections of work place and equipment for compliance with general and specific standards relating to Occupational Health & Safety Act
- Investigate accidents/incidents and unsafe situations at the workplace
- Monitoring of contractors to ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety Act and Construction Regulations and attend site meetings
- Conducting Health & safety audits to ensure compliance
