Great Kei Local Municipality invites South Africa unemployed graduates to apply for Municipal Finance Internship Programme for 2024/2025.

The Great Kei Local Municipality is inviting applications for a 36-month Municipal Finance Management Internship. This opportunity is aimed at highly motivated, results-oriented, suitably qualified, and experienced individuals.
Position Details
- Department: Budget & Treasury Office
- Duration: 36 Months
- Stipend: R100,000.00 per annum
Minimum Requirements
- Education:
- Matric (Grade 12) plus a three-year qualification (National Diploma or Degree) in Accountancy, Financial Information Systems, or Information Technology from a recognized institution.
- Knowledge:
- Sound understanding of the Municipal Finance Management Act (MFMA), Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (PPPFA), and Generally Recognized Accounting Practice (GRAP).
- Skills:
- Good communication, interpersonal, and report writing skills.
- Additional:
- A valid driver’s license is an added advantage.
- Location:
- Preference for unemployed graduates within the Amathole Region.
