Gauteng Dept of Education: Recruitment of Covid-19 Brigades Programme 2020 for Unemployed Youth
Gauteng Department of Education invites unemployed graduates and youth to apply for COVID-19 Brigades Programme 2020.
Programme Location: Gauteng
Deployed Brigades will be paid stipend.
Who may apply
- Unemployed graduates and youth residing in Gauteng
- Aged between 18 – 35 years
About the programme
The pprogramme is part of Department of Education’s overall plan to involve youth in limiting community transmission and outbreaks within the education sector.
Recruited Brigades will be placed in schools and government building to assist departments with the following:
- Screening of staff and learners
- Data capturing
- Monitoring compliance. e.g Social distancing and sanitising, etc
Brigades wwill be trained by Gauteng City Region Academy (GCRA) facilitators on how to enforce Occupation Health Safety (OHS) requirements and precautions measures to curb the spread of COVID-19 pandemic.
