Key Requirements:

  • Minimum: NQF Level 2 (Grade 10 or equivalent).

Job Duties:

As a Tradesman Aid, you will play an essential role in conducting laboratory tests on road-building materials, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of test results. Your duties will include:

  • Performing tests according to TMH 1, TMH 5, and SANS 3001 standards.
  • Verifying laboratory equipment and maintaining cleanliness and order in the lab.
  • Assisting with field tests and sampling on-site, and reporting any faulty equipment.
  • Supporting senior officers in completing tasks related to quality assurance and construction.
