FIC: State Forensic Capability Internships 2025

Financial Intelligence Centre invites South African unemployed graduates to apply for the Graduate: State Forensic Capability Programme 2025.

About the Internship:

The Graduate: State Forensic Capability Programme is a 24-month fixed-term opportunity for skilled Honours-level graduates. Interns will assist in producing affidavits and forensic reports to support the FIC’s mandate in criminal investigations and prosecutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting investigative searches and consolidating data
  • Assisting with forensic report writing and court-directed reports
  • Understanding and applying forensic accounting, criminal law, and evidence procedures
  • Collaborating with internal teams and clients
  • Developing professional skills through mentorship and goal-setting

Minimum Requirements:

  • Honours degree in:
    • Accountancy
    • Forensic Accountancy
    • Law Enforcement/Forensic Investigations
    • Intelligence
    • Fraud and Risk Management
    • Business Mathematics and Informatics
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint; SAS is an advantage)
  • Strong report writing and communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Good command of English
