Exxaro Leeuwpan Coal invites applications for its Rock Engineering Internship Programme. This programme is designed to provide on-the-job exposure for unemployed youth, with a preference for candidates from the Victor Khanye Municipality, who have qualifications in Mining Engineering or Geology.
Qualifications Required:
- A qualification in Mining Engineering or Geology (Minimum/Essential)
Requirements & Experience:
- No prior experience is required.
- Proven theoretical knowledge of rock engineering in open-cast mining.
- Familiarity with software tools used in the rock engineering field.
- Strong timekeeping abilities.
- Effective communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to self-training and development.
Key Performance Areas:
The successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Delivering personal performance in line with the training and development programme.
- Adherence to company rules and regulations.
Conditions for Application:
- Selection Process: Candidates must pass the selection process.
- Interviews and Screening Assessment will be conducted.
- A Medical Certificate of Fitness Assessment is required.
- A valid driver’s license will be an added advantage.
