Minimum Requirements

Key Responsibilities
Internal Secondment – current grade to be retained and current Service Conditions will remain unchanged, except that the incumbent’s status will be deemed Learner Intern, which will allow them the flexibility of pursuing a structured career developmental programme.
The Eskom Company Secretariat is offering an Internal Development/ Internship Programme for internal employees who currently hold a Legal Qualification (i.e. LLB or equivalent). This programme will give exposure and provide skills and competence development in the following Functional areas:
- Organisational Ethics
- Corporate Governance
- Company Secretariat fiduciary duty, roles and functionality
- Company Law
- Compliance Monitoring
- Company Law
- Commercial Law
A personal Portfolio of Evidence will be built up over the Internship period, in terms of the Learning Programme Agreement, that will allow the incumbents to move from Candidate status to Professional status in the relevant Legal fields. External skills grants will be sourced from the appropriate SETA or National Skills Fund (NSF) to finance this world-class development programme which can be also considered a professional Learnership in terms of the Skills Development Act (1998) as amended.
