Eskom, a prominent South African electricity public utility, is offering a great career opportunity for South African youth. They are looking for Learner Technicians – Mechanical to join their team at Koeberg Nuclear Power Station.
Area of Specialization: Eskom is providing workplace-based learning opportunities within the Maintenance and Inspection and Test Department at Koeberg Power Station in the discipline of Mechanical (7 positions).

Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd, also known as Eskom, is a major South African electricity public utility. It has been a key player in the electricity generation and supply industry and represents South Africa in the Southern African Power Pool. Eskom generates electricity using various resources such as coal, water, wind, nuclear, and liquid fuels.
Minimum Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Completed 3rd-year theoretical training (Diploma in Mechanical Engineering).
Other Requirements:
- Must be a South African Citizen.
- Should not have participated or registered for a learning program before.
- Applicants will go through a recruitment process and, if successful, will be placed in Eskom Operations across the divisions.
- Completed 3rd-year theoretical training (Diploma in Mechanical Engineering) and have not completed workplace-based training.
Note: Graduates with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering are not eligible for this program. Only learners requiring workplace-based training to graduate will be considered.

Duties and Responsibilities:
This is a 6-month Training Programme where the incumbent will receive workplace-based training to graduate with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
