Purpose of the Position
The Tender Bid Administrator Intern will assist the Tender Bid team in preparing and submitting tender documents, ensuring compliance with all requirements, and supporting the overall bid process. This role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking hands-on experience in the field of business development and tender administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and compilation of tender documents.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
- Verify that tender submissions comply with the client’s requirements and company policies.
- Maintain up-to-date records of tender documentation and submission schedules.
- Liaise with internal departments to gather necessary information for tenders.
- Coordinate with the Tender Bid Manager to ensure all relevant stakeholders are informed of tender progress and deadlines.
- Conduct research on potential tenders and opportunities.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities related to tendering.
- Provide administrative support to the Tender Bid team, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining databases.
- Assist in post-tender follow-ups and maintaining records of tender outcomes.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Grade 12 certificate or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Applicants must be aged between 18 and 35 years old.
- Must be a South African Citizen, preferably residing in the Limpopo Province.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.
- Must be willing to learn.
